DB, Yannick and Gabriel

Yeah, I’m not done with Yannick Bisson and Gabriel Macht and their brown eyes just yet. This past weekend I was also distracted by DB Woodside’s eyes again. Via Twitter I saw that he was doing an online pay-what-you-can convention event and before I knew it I found myself signing up for his 45 minute Q&A session at a quarter past midnight on what was technically not Saturday night but Sunday morning for me.

This man is such a gentle and thoughtful soul, very much impacted by the Black Lives Matter movement that is going on, harbours a huge affection for his Lucifer colleagues and I really enjoyed the 45 minutes listening to him (and looking into his eyes). He directed one of the final Lucifer episodes recently and loved it. It will be a while before we see it but I am curious.

In other brown-eyed news, I finished two Yannick Bisson and Deanne Bray in Sue Thomas F.B. Eye videos. One video I made was to the song ‘Grow As We Go’ which I’m not too happy with but I uploaded it anyway because I got impatient. I may take it down again but if anyone wants to see it, it is up on my Sue Thomas videos page (for now). Over here I will share the video I just finished today after work, because that one I do quite like…

I just can’t get enough of Bisson’s brown eyes (click images to enlarge)…

I also have a Gabriel Macht in Suits video idea that I want to explore next. I need a little video creation break but I am looking forward to using those brown eyes and that shit-eating grin in the video I’m considering making…

Thank goodness I still have fun and beautiful things to distract me even after being in Corona lockdown for a year.

Richard Armitage on Dibley

Yesterday a programme aired in the UK about The Vicar of Dibley and, among many other people, Richard was interviewed for it as well. Servetus has been so kind as to provide two clips from the programme where they all speak about Harry Kennedy as embodied by Richard Armitage…

She was going to find her romantic and intellecual equal, writer Richard Curtis says of Geraldine finding Harry and he’s a really good romantic hero with a twinkle in the eye, Dawn French says. Dawn’s smile says it all really (click images to see the smiles more clearly)…

Here are a buttload of screenshots as Richard is interviewed (click images to enlarge)…

I like that Richard’s biggest laughs were about the mud being splashed onto Geraldine’s wedding dress (the last four pictures above). Gotta love a man with a silly sense of humour! Guylty has compiled some nice gifs from Tumblr and videos on YouTube, check them out here if you like.

I really did enjoy the distRAction but now I need to get back to Gabriel Macht and Yannick Bisson with their beautiful brown eyes again…

… and wait a bit till I can make some more time and space in my head to watch the whole The Vicar of Dibley Inside Out programme. I always loved The Vicar of Dibley and I always loved that Richard was able to be part of that as well.

Chucklebutt

I’ve been watching Suits bloopers and behind the scenes Gabriel Macht is apparently the one who cracks up most often. In one little behind the scene Sarah Rafferty calls him “chucklebutt” and while he’s chuckling you hear him say, “Sarah, stop it!” Here’s a gif of that moment (and a video starting at 5:37 mins here, it’s even better with sound)…

I made a few more Gabriel chuckling behind the scenes gifs (in the third gif he is trying to not laugh before he cracks up in the fourth gif, click on the images to see them a bit larger if you like)…

… and some dancing behind the scenes gifs, he’s got quite the moves.

And a couple more behind the scenes giggles gifs…

I just love the word chucklebutt, it seems very fitting for Gabriel, and I think I may use it as an alias somewhere, sometime should I ever need one online. Thank you, Sarah, for your quips! 🙂

The VSCO man

OK, so I’ve not been video making as I said I would be doing in my last post, but I’ve been going down another Gabriel Macht rabbit hole instead (I’ve been down one before a couple of years back). Last night I came across this video again which was shared by his wife Jacinda on Instagram about 10 months ago. I had seen it before and it had cracked me up at the time but now I just needed to share it here as well as it made me laugh all over again.

I had no idea what a VSCO girl was, had to look it up, and I think my daughter may be one as well with her large t-shirts over short shorts in the summer (but not with the backpack, headband and scrunchies). Anyway, the 48 year old VSCO man version looks like this…

His shirt is a little short but that’s because he’s wearing his wife’s clothes in this (including her shorts, apparently). For good measure, here are some shaggy Covid-bearded, brown-eyed close up screenshots of Gabriel, the VSCO man. Gotta say, the look has grown on me…

I had to include a Gabriel grinning picture above because his grins really are the best whether he’s long-haired and shaggy-bearded or not. He has such a shit-eating grin if ever I’ve seen one and it doesn’t surprise me that he seems to have a good sense of silliness…

I’d never be able to convice Mr Esther to dress up like a VSCO man, as much as I’d love to see it. For some months now I’ve been trying to convince him to let me braid his Covid beard but he won’t let me even do that… My husband can really make me laugh and he has many wonderful, extraordinary qualities that I absolutely love him for, but being silly like this isn’t one of them. I guess that’s one thing I like about actors, they can go all silly at times, or at least Gabriel Macht can, with his big grin and mirthful brown eyes, and that can always brighten my day.

More brown eyes obsession

As I mentioned in my last post, Yannick Bisson’s brown eyes lead me to re-visit Gabriel Macht’s brown eyes and I’ve been re-watching bits and pieces of Suits, just because I wanted to see those beautiful brown eyes in action.

It’s not only the eyes, that man is truly brilliant as Harvey Specter, deal maker and man of steel, who underneath it all does have a heart that he shows especially around Donna (Sarah Rafferty, also brilliant) and more than ever in the final Suits season…

Added bonus is that some other brown eyes also caught my attention again during my re-watch, namely D.B. Woodside’s eyes. He’s most well known nowadays for Lucifer but he also did a season and later a few more guest episodes on Suits. He can look quite serious and dangerous, but the shape of his eyes and the colour are quite arresting and when he smiles the softness reaches right into his soulful eyes…

And of course I’ve been returning to Yannick Bisson over and over again because, I mean, come on, look at those warm large brown eyes and those eyelashes on the man! He’s a good actor and from what I can tell he seems like a very nice person too, but those eyes, they are in a league of their own (click on images to enlarge, they are worth it). Even behind glasses the eyes are beautiful! Is it possible to ship the eyes alone even more than the man?

I know I’ve been scarce around here of late, but with work, family, vertigo (now all gone, by the looks of it! Woohoo!) and all these brown eyes, blogging has gone out the window a bit. Last night I also started experimenting a little with the ‘Video Editor’ app for Windows 10, trying to figure out how that works, so I think I may remain preoccupied with brown eyes and video making for the forseeable future as well. I’m sure I’ll get back into blogging more again, once this obsession has run its course… Bear with me?
