Delft 22 years later

On Monday, July 26th 1999 this happened in Delft…

… and this evening, exactly 22 years later and also on a Monday, we were in Delft again to celebrate our anniversary…

… with a nice dinner at an Argentinian restaurant together with our kids…

Little celebrations commemorating big celebrations are precious things.

    1. Thank you, I did and do too. When I was dress-fitting I tried on veils and they just were not me, I just didn’t like them or the look of them on me. We then tried a few hats and then bingo. πŸ™‚

  1. This post ,the symmetry of the pictures, the beauty of your dress and hat, your hubby kissing you in the picture all give me hope for finding a soul mate so thank you for this beautiful reflection and sharing this wonderful date with us readers β€οΈπŸ€—πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠ

So you have a family split over whether to get frites or the baked potato? That restaurant gets great review — if I’m ever in Delft, definitely going there!

More importantly, happy anniversary. Many happy returns!

    1. No one in my home likes baked potato except for me, so when I can I order one for myself when we eat out. The others ate the frites. And yes, the food was really good there. We originally planned on going to a different Argentinian restaurant with an even nicer ambiance and really good food too (at least it did have that years ago when we last ate there), but they were closed on Monday.
If you’re ever in Delft I’m coming with you. πŸ™‚
