Smiles of the day

Receiving a lovely letter plus gorgeous notebook from Guylty in the post this morning (thank you again, Guylty!) and eating chocolate sprinkles on toast for lunch…

Reliving Richard Armitage at the Newcastle Film Festival memories, due to a Twitter post from the lovely Christine…

And additional smiles from Ellen…

And last but not least: our front garden was ‘sinking’. If you walked up to our front door you were in danger of breaking your neck because the path was so uneven. So, we had the path and the garden elevated with sand (underneath the path) and extra soil for the garden. Mr Esther had the day off today so he and mini-me bought some extra pots for plants alongside our path. There’s a little tree in the pots and lavender. I love lavender.

Our ‘new’ front garden definitely makes me happy as well. This is a good start to the weekend. πŸ™‚
