Richard. Turtleneck. Good hair. Thud.

I really love a handsome man in a turtleneck! I have once before gushed about Colin Firth in a turtleneck and now I can gush about Richard Armitage in one too!

This little interview has just come out (thank you Servetus for the find and the link to the video on YouTube!) where Richard is asked a few questions about Love Love Love during a photoshoot, wearing a dark grey turtleneck. His hair is a little longer, his best length, I find, and he’s looking so good (even if a little pale here and there, but that could also be the lighting)! This is the picture that comes with the interview…

… and I went screencap crazy almost instantly after seeing the 3 minute video accompanying this! So, hold on to whatever you need to hold on to, here they are, a selection of the screencaps I made! You can click on the smaller images to enlarge them and study them more closely. 🙂 Let’s start with Armitage in photoshoot mode:

Here he’s chatting about what he love love loves, ending with a goofy grin (and yes, a little tongue action there too):

Or here we have him gesturing (maybe about catching a fish THAT big?) and a bit of a fake smile, at least it looks a little fake to me:

Tongue/mouth action:

Or here he is cracking himself up (click on images to enlarge!):

Here he is talking about the best acting advice he has received. I just love that 3rd image in this little group!

More talking with hands:

And discussing his fave 80s video, which turns out to be a 1991 song (I looked it up). 😉

Suave James Bond-ish profile shots:

And discussing his pet Richard III project – such a long-held dream of his, would love if it came true for him!

Some more lovely profile shots:

And the video ends with filming the shoot of the last photo:

Gosh, who knew soooo many goodies were to be gleaned from a 3 minute video? I’ll be going back to these images often, I just know I will. Love them.

I don’t like it at all. He looks old, too pale, and the turtleneck is not flattering on him; it’s a crime to hide that neck. Sorry, Esther. We usually agree, but not this time. I will say that your captures of the video are excellent, though. Thanks for taking the time to make them, as I’m sure mine is the dissenting opinion and this post will bring joy to many. 😉

    1. LOL! That’s fine! Our same taste was getting creepy. 😉
As much as I love the look (adore the turtleneck!) I do agree on the paleness, which makes him look a little vampirish here and there. Also agree that he looks older (harsh lighting doesn’t help) but even that I like.

Sorry I came across as creepy. I better not ask you about the A Place To Call Home series finale and Regina’s fate! Happy December to you and everyone who follows your blog.

        1. You do realize I was kidding about the creepiness, right?
APTCH – that was some chilling stuff about Regina and Sarah almost losing it! The next series will be set 4 years later – enough time for Regina to get out again? And Sir Richard is scary too! But at least for now there at least finally seems to be a happy ending for Sarah and George… I feel another fan video coming up. 😉

I wasn’t sure if you were kidding or not. *blushes* Anyway, that episode was a doozy! I’m really glad George intervened and diffused the situation. Let’s see what will happen next; I too want that happy ending. 🙂
